Description
English: View over Chepstow from the Alcove. The Alcove is the first of the Piercefield viewpoints to be enjoyed when tackling the Wye Valley Walk. Chepstow Castle is just right of centre, towering over the River Wye. In the far distance can be seen the twin towers of the original Severn Road Bridge, opened in 1966.
