Photograph of the view looking up to the north rim of the Grand Canyon from the Trail to Shunimo (Bass Trail), ca.1900-1930. A tree at right shades the area of what appears to be a ravine. Stones and smaller plants (brush, grass) predominate in the foreground. Steep rocky walls climb up at left and center toward the north rim visible over the tree top.
