Deutsch: Ansicht der Hundsklippe bey Mettmann im Herzogthum Berg, Aquarell, von C. Engels um 1800 - Hundsklippe ist ein früherer Name für das Neandertal. Das Bild fügt zwei Perspektiven zusammen: links die Schlucht mit dem überhängenden Rabenstein und im Hintergrund der Neanderhöhle (oder Leuchtenburg), rechts die Hundsklipper Mühle (gedreht) mit dem Anwesen Latthahn auf der Höhe. Es fehlt der Mittelteil mit der Grotte Engelskammer.
