He holds the magical drum that Lady Shizuka (11651211) would beat when she wished to call on him for help. Lady Shizuka, the court dancer and lover of the samurai warrior Yoshitsune, with the help of the fox Tadanobu, assisted Yoshitsune in overcoming enemy spies sent by his brother and rival, the Shogun.
