Shows the newly opened Grantham to Lincoln Railway. Looking from the Lincoln Cliff across the Witham valley The contractors were Kirk and Parry of Sleaford. Shows the spire of Leadenham Church and the spire of Brant Broughton. The road (former A 17 but now by-passed) had to be diverted over the railway cutting.
