| Description |
English: View northwest towards Crug Hywel A zoomed image taken from the Belfountain 'top road' between Crickhowell and Llanbedr Ystrad Yw. The land in the foreground slopes down towards the lower road, not visible here, and rises again as the slopes below Crug Hywel/Table Mountain. The large farm set in sunlit fields is Ysgubor Newydd, and above it to the left are the half-hidden buildings of Dol-y-gaer.
The ancient hillfort of Crug Hywel can be seen to be an outlier of the Pen-cerrig-calch range that rises beyond it. |
