| Description |
English: View north-east from the priory The main ruins of the priory are behind the camera here, but the floorplan of the presbytery here is paved in modern tiles to retain the original appearance, and looks directly towards the Cleddau river where it is crossed by a road and a railway bridge in parallel. This was marshy land and the 13th monks (or their employees) had to create a higher, level platform of ground before building could start. |
