| Description |
English: View from the Halfpenny Bridge, Rochdale Branch Canal, Lancashire. I took this photograph some 51 years ago, and while it is still possible to stand on the same spot, nothing at all seen in the photograph is still visible. The branch canal has been filled in, the factories demolished and replaced by modern industrial units. |
