Summary

[edit]
Description
English: View from the Belfast Wheel [4] Taken from 637908 The prominent red sandstone building is now part of 'Marks and Spencer' in Donegall Square North - it was originally built in 1867-9 as 'Richardson Sons and Owden's Warehouse'; after that it became the home of the Water Office. The building suffered extensive damage during the Belfast Blitz in WW2 - there were originally massive chimney stacks adorning the roof which have sadly been lost.
