English: View from beside Southwest Tower, Carmarthen Castle. Directly below the castle is Coracle Way (with roadworks in progress), built in the 1960s to relieve serious traffic congestion around Carmarthen. Beyond this is a builders' merchant on a narrow strip of land, then the old quay beside the River Towy. To the right of the picture is the Pont King Morgan footbridge, opened 2006 190880 . |
