Summary
[edit]DescriptionView from Williamcraigs road - geograph.org.uk - 1025452.jpg |
English: View from Williamcraigs road After crossing the Union canal by Williamcraigs bridge, the walker is rewarded with this perfect view of the Royal and Ancient Burgh of Linlithgow! St Ninian's Church spire, Linlithgow Palace, St Michael's Spire and the Town Hall clock tower are prominent. The hills in the background are not on the same side of the Forth. Faintly visible above the crags on the right skyline is a radio transmitting tower near Burntisland in Fife, while the smudge behind St Ninian's is the petrochemical complex at Mossmoran also in Fife. |
