Description

View of Straumen from Øyna Parken on Inderøy in Nord-Trøndelag, Norway.

Straumen is the largest muncipality on Inderøy and its administration centre, with a population of slightly more than 1,200 in 2011. It's named after the tidal current, the second strongest in Norway, which takes water from the Borgenfjord on the left to the Trondheimsfjord on the right.
