English: View down dry valley Between the justly famous features of Malham Cove and Gordale Scar is a small, steep sided dry valley cutting down through the scarp edge of the Great Scar Limestone, and like its famous neighbours it would have been carved by glacial meltwaters. The view looks down towards the old plough strips [lynchets] on the slopes of Cawden. |
