| Description |
English: View across Eskdale from Muncaster Fell View south east from the footpath over Muncaster Fell, immediately east of the high point on Silver Knott, at around 120 metres. The vegetation at this elevation is dominated by bog grass and cotton grass, with occasional rhododendron bushes and a few small trees, unlike the bracken at lower elevations which is visible in the distance (left and centre right). Across Eskdale are the Ulpha and Birkby Fells; the plantations (right) are Cropple How and High Coppice |
