English: Reliefs on the side facade of the Church of Santa María de Gracia, in Cartagena (Spain). They were created in 1973 by the sculptor Manuel Ardil Robles and are inspired by the alabaster altarpiece that, from the former Cathedral of Cartagena, is preserved in the National Archaeological Museum of Madrid. They show various scenes from the Life of the Virgin.
In the photograph there are four pieces that represent the marriage with Joseph of Nazareth, the Annunciation, the Nativity and the circumcision of Jesus. Español: Relieves en la fachada lateral de la iglesia de Santa María de Gracia, en Cartagena (España). Fueron creados en 1973 por el escultor Manuel Ardil Robles y están inspirados en el retablo de alabastro que, procedente de la antigua Catedral de Cartagena, se conserva en el Museo Arqueológico Nacional de Madrid. En ellos se muestran diversas escenas de la vida de la Virgen. En la fotografía aparecen cuatro piezas en las que se representa los desposorios con José de Nazaret, la Anunciación, el Natividad y la circuncisión de Jesús. |
