| Description |
English: Victoria station, Manchester This shows the derelict platforms at the south side of Victoria station which in former years had been used by the Bury electric service. This had been one of Britain's pioneer electric lines, introduced in the Edwardian period by the Lancashire and Yorkshire railway. The original stock lasted until the late 1950s. |
