Svenska: Avgående brittiske ministern i Stockholm sir Victor Mallet (till vänster) med utrikesminister Christian Günther. Bilden togs vid en mottagning som sir Victor gav den 12 maj 1945 dels för att fira de allierades seger, dels för att ta avsked. Sir Victor, som lämnade Sverige i slutet av juni, fick som efterträdare ambassadrådet i Buenos Aires Cecil Bertrand Jerram.
English: Exiting British Minister in Stockholm Sir Victor Mallet (left) with Foreign Minister Christian Günther. The photo was taken at a reception given by Sir Victor on 12 May 1945, partly to celebrate the Allied victory, and to his farewell. Sir Victor, who left Sweden at the end of June, was succeeded by the Embassy Council of Buenos Aires Cecil Bertrand Jerram. |
