Summary
[edit]DescriptionVicon Lely on Cefn Llwydallt - geograph.org.uk - 558283.jpg |
English: Old hay rake on Cefn Llwydallt. – A sheep looking like it's standing guard over an old rusting Vicon Lely star-wheel rake, a farm implement used in haymaking for turning the swaths of hay. These machines were simple and were towed behind a tractor and the tines would turn the hay wheels as it is towed. This was later replaced by an "Acrobat" which was powered from the tractor's PTO (Power Take Off). |
