Deutsch: Vorderseite: LVDOVICVS RVDOLPHVS D G DVX BR ET LVNEB. Geharnischtes Brustbild des Herzogs Ludwig Rudolph mit umgelegten Mantel, Ordensketten und Bruststern nach rechts. Im Armabschnitt die Signatur V für Vestner.

Rückseite: HEIC GENER IMPERIVM REGIT ILLIC DEXTRA NEPOTIS // CAROLVS VI / ROM. IMP. / 1711 -/ PETRVS II / RVSS. IMP. / 1727 [Hier lenkt der Schwiegersohn ein Reich, dort die rechte [Hand] des Enkels]. Zwei bekrönte Wappenschilde mit dem Habsburger Doppeladler, links, und dem Zaren-Doppeladler des russischen Reiches, rechts. Über Abschnitt rechts die Signatur P. W für Peter Paul Werner.

Kommentar: Die Medaille wurde auf die Vermählung der Töchter des Herzogs Ludwig Rudolph von Braunschweig-Wolfenbüttel und die damit geschlossene Verbindung zu zwei Kaiserhäusern geprägt. Karl VI. heiratete Elisabeth Christine und Peter der Große von Russland verheiratete seinen Sohn, den Zarewitsch Alexius, mit Charlotte Christine Sophie von Braunschweig.
