Description
Deutsch: Versuchsmodell für ein Quarzuhrwerk von Karl Gebhardt. Deutlich zu erkennen:
  • rechts in weiß: Batteriefach
  • unten in beige: Röhre mit Quarz. Zum Schutz vor thermischen Einflüssen mit Isolationsmaterial umhüllt
  • Mitte: konventionelles Batterieuhrwerk, welches über den Quarz und die Elektronik beeinflußt wird
  • links: kleine Platinen, von denen jede die Frequanz halbiert, so dass die hohe Frequenz des Quarzes ansich zu einer vom Uhrwerk in der Mitte verwertbaren Frequenz reduziert wird.
English: Experimental model for a quartz movement by Karl Gebhardt. Parts:
  • white object, right: Battery
  • beige object, below: Quartz crystal. To protect against thermal drift it is wrapped with insulation material
  • center: Conventional battery-powered clock movement, controlled by the crystal and the electronics
  • left: Circuit board containing digital dividers, to reduce the frequency of the crystal to a low enough frequency to drive the movement.
