Hij laat zich in een lusthof vermaken met muziek en welwillende dames. Op de voorgrond danst hij met een vrouw. Op de grond liggen speelkaarten en rechts houdt een vrouw de kerfstok bij. Op de achtergrond wordt de verloren zoon, nadat het geld op is, de herberg of het bordeel uitgejaagd. Bij verschillende elementen uit de voorstelling staan letters. De prent maakt deel uit van een album. Vervaardiging Vervaardiger: prentmaker: Christoffel van Sichem (II) (vermeld op object), naar prent van: Claes Jansz. Visscher (II), naar tekening van: David Vinckboons (I), uitgever: Pieter Jacobsz.
