The recreation facilities, including the amenity center, swimming pool, outdoor kitchen, dog park, playground, walking trails, and restrooms, are private property owned by the association. Residents must follow all Ventana amenity rules when visiting any common area. Violation of amenity rules may result in temporary or permanent loss of your household access privileges.

Dog Park Hours:

The dog park will be open for resident use from dawn to dusk. Access card required for entry.

1. All dogs must be fully registered by the city of Fort Worth and fully immunized with tags on their collars.

2. All dogs must be up to date on vaccines.

3. The dog park is for dogs, their owners/handlers, and guest accompanying them. No other use is allowed.

4. Professional dog trainers and/or groomers are not permitted to conduct their business at the dog park.

5. Dogs must be on a leash when entering and exiting the dog park. Do not congregate at the dog park entrance as this is intimidating to other dogs.

6. Retractable leashes, prong, spike, or choke collars and remote or shock training collars are prohibited inside of the dog park.

7. A cardholder may bring two (2) guests, excluding household members, to the park.

8. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.

9. Maximum of three (3) dogs per owner/handler at the dog park. An owner must always be inside the dog park when a dog is present.

10. Dogs may never be left unattended, under any circumstances. Your dog(s) must be able to be controlled at all times by way of verbal commands and/or hand gestures.

11. Aggressive dogs are not allowed. Dogs showing aggression towards people or other dogs must be removed from the dog park immediately.

12. Owners/handlers are legally and financially responsible for any injuries caused by their dog(s) and use the Ventana dog park at their own risk.

13. Bones, rawhides, and squeaky or stuffed toys are prohibited since they can trigger aggression. Frisbees and balls are acceptable but must be taken back home when you leave.

14. Dog food, treats, human food, alcohol, smoking, and glass containers are strictly prohibited at the dog park.

15. No sick dogs or those with fleas, ticks, worms, or other parasites are allowed.

16. Puppies under the age of 4 months are not allowed, as they are not sufficiently immunized.

17. No dogs in heat are allowed. Spayed/neutered dogs are recommended.

18. Clean up and dispose of feces left by your dog. Bags and receptacles are provided at the dog park.

19. Owners/handlers must stop dogs from digging and immediately fill holes.

20. Please report any inoperable or broken equipment immediately.

21. Defacement of HOA property will result in amenity access suspension and/or fines.

22. Excessive barking is prohibited. Dogs barking continuously or uncontrollably must be removed from the dog park immediately.

23. Park users and dog owners assume all risk related to use of the dog park. Ventana HOA shall not be liable for any injury, damage, or illness caused by any dog or use of the facility.
