Vedproduksjon ved Fossingelva i Åsen i 1918. Jernbanen fikk mangel på kull mot slutten av første verdenskrig. Det ble derfor satt i gang arbeid for å skaffe ved som erstatning for kullfyring. I Åsen ble det anlagt et produksjonsanlegg ved Fossingelva. Ved hjelp av en dampdrevet vinsj ble tømmeret slept opp fra elva på en kjerrat, som vi ser øverste del av på bildet. Tømmeret ble kappet i kippvedlengder, kløyvd og tørket, og senere lastet ombord på jernbanevogner. Bak kjerraten ser vi jernbanens vannstasjon, og bak denne skimtes husa på Fossingsve. Arbeidsstokken i forkant er: Sittende fra venstre: Ole Rønning, Enok Tømmerås, Emil Lund, Hågen Lynum, John Stokkan, Albert Tiller og Magne Fossen (?). Stående fra venstre: To ukjente, Olaf Tømmerås, Gustav Ringfoss, Johannes Husby, Trygve Almlid, Jon Ringfoss, Karl Ringfoss, Ingvald Vedul, Anton Skogtrø (?), Bernhard Rønning, Per Fossen og en ukjent.
