Byggnadsår: 1904 Arkitekt: Arméförvaltningen, Erik Josephson Ursprunglig funktion: Manskapskasern och bostäder för underofficerare vid KA 1. Ändrad funktion: Bostäder ombyggnad till lektionssalar. Kasernerna byggs (2016) om till bostäder. Beskrivning: Putsarkitektur med rustik, listverk, hörnkedjor och gavelmotiv. Långsidans mittaxel markeras mot kaserngården av en fronton i taklisten, en kopparplåt i fasaden med byggnadsåret och ett vindfång på bottenvåningen. Husens ändar är formade som tvärställda framspringande flyglar dit trapphus respektive lägenheter förlades. Byggnaderna kröns av valmade sadeltak. Kommentar: Med sin stora skala och kraftfulla arkitektur präglar byggnaderna, tillsammans med kaserngården, områdets östra del. Betecknas som byggnad 103 (kasernen i förgrunden) och 102 (kasernen i bakgrunden) på kartor över området. De fem träbyggnaderna till vänster (betecknade som byggnad 113, 122, 123, 124 och 126) är idag rivna.English: Barrack 1 and 2 in 1943
Year built: 1904 Architect: Royal Swedish Army Materiel Administration, Erik Josephson Initial function: Men's barracks and housing for non-commissioned officer at KA 1. Modified function: Housing rebuilt to classrooms. Rebuilt (2016) for housing. Description: Plaster architecture with rustic, moldings, corners chains and gable motifs. The long side's central axis is marked against the barracks ground of a pediment of the cornice, a copper plate in the facade of the building with the built-year and a wind catcher on the ground floor. The ends of the houses are shaped as transverse front running wings where stairways and apartments were placed. The buildings crowned by a hipped gable roof. Comment: With its large scale and powerful architecture the buildings characterizes, along with the barracks ground, the eastern part of the area. Designated as building 103 (barracks in the foreground) and 102 (barracks in the background) on maps of the area. The five wooden buildings to the left (designated as buildings 113, 122, 123, 124 and 126) are now demolished. |
