View of Jökulstaðir (farm) in Vatnsdalur, Northwest Region, Iceland. According to the Vansdæla saga, it is the farm where Ingimund the Old settled his son, Jökull.
Description Vatnsdalur. Hier am Ende des Tals soll nach der Vatnsdæla saga der Landnámsmann Ingimundur seinen Sohn Jökull angesiedelt haben. Dieser konnte von hier das gesamte Tal überblicken und kontrollieren.
