The sides of the beakhead were adorned with sculptures of twenty Roman emperors, ten on each side. See File:Vasaskultpurrepliker.jpg for an example of a painted replica of one of them.
The figurehead lion.
The bowsprit.
The port cathead used to suspend the chains supporting the anchors. The sculpture underneath it depicts a Polish nobleman hiding under a table. The man is facing the inside of the ship. See File:Vasa-cathead Pole.jpg for the starboard partner which is identical except that it's mirrored.
