Description
Deutsch: links die alte Varodd-Brücke, rechts die neue Brücke in Kristiansand (Norwegen) - gamle & nye Varoddbrua Foto Wolfgang Pehlemann DSCN1602. Die alte Brücke aus dem Jahr 1956 besitzt eine Länge von 618 m und eine Spannweite von 337 m; die neue Brücke aus dem Jahr 1994 wurde mit einer Länge von 663 m und der größten Spannweite von 260 m errichtet. Über den Brückenkomplex führt die Europastraße 18 (E18), und zwar stadteinwärts nach Kristiansand über die neue Brücke, stadtauswärts über die alte Tragseilbrücke.
