Description

A small disc-type metal oxide varistor (MOV), i.e., voltage-dependent resistor, manufactured by Siemens/Epcos . It is rated for 385 volts. Data sheet: http://www.epcos.com/inf/70/db/var_11/SIOV_Leaded_StandarD.pdf

Deutsch: Ein Varistor zum Schutz gegen Überspannungen an Versorgungsleitungen. Er wird bei 385 V leitend und kann kurzzeitig 4,5 kA Strom ableiten. Langfristig kann dieses Bauteil 0,6 W elektrische Leistung in Wärme umwandeln
