Description
English: Dr. Vansanglura Vanchhawng was born on 1st March, 1965 at Ngopa, Mizoram. He finished M.A (Education) in first class from North Eastern Hill University (NEHU) and awarded the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Education from Mizoram University in the year 2006. He was a ‘Visiting Scholar’ at Teachers College, Columbia University, New York City in 2010-2011 academic year. His area of expertise is Gifted Education. In 2005 he finished Bachelor of Christian Studies (BCS) from the Senate of Serampore College in Grade B through Aizawl Theological College (ATC), Mizoram. He has also the degree of Doctor of Theology from Therapon University (USA) through online studies. His wife is Mrs Lalhriatpuii of Chhinga Veng, Aizawl, Mizoram. They have three children and their names are V. Lalfakzuali (daughter), V, Lalrindika (son) and Vanlalpeka (son) respectively. He presently serving as 22nd Principal of the historical Serampore College, Hooghly.
