Description
English: Production still from the American drama film Vanity Fair (1923) with Mabel Ballin, director Hugo Ballin seated on the front of the camera platform, and possibly cinematographer James Diamond behind the camera, on page 548b of the February 10, 1923 Exhibitor's Trade Review. The wheeled camera platform allowed the camera to be moved to follow actors as they moved during the scene.
