English: Vanguard Way Following the course of the bridleway from Berwick to Selmeston before heading south at Stonery Farm. The hedge in the background is also an ancient parish boundary whilst the field in the foreground was once Berwick Common until it was enclosed in the 19th century possibly at the time of the railway's arrival. Firle Beacon is in the distance. |
