Español: Esta postal muestra como era el área que va desde la plaza Victoria hacia el oriente, antes del terremoto de 1906. La primera calle de la izquierda es la Avenida Victoria (actual Pedro Montt), la de la derecha es la calle Victoria (actual Independencia). A la izquierda de la actual P.Montt se puede ver la mansion de Agustín Edwards(actual catedral de Valparaíso), que fue arrasada por el terremoto, así como la iglesia Espíritu Santo(actualmente un edificio de departamentos), de la que se ve su torre con reloj, a la derecha y al fondo de la torre se ve la Iglesia de los Sagrados Corazones. El machón verde del medio de la postal es el parque Italia. |
