Description
English: Brig. Gen. Ali Shah Ahmadzai, Ministry of the Interior, 303rd Zone Commander, takes questions from a villager during a validation shura held in Khohistanat district, Sar-e Pul province, March 28. The validation shura was a ceremonial gathering of villagers and tribal elders who select candidates to participate in a three-week training course in order to become Afghan Local Police.
