Description Vales al portador de Valdivia (1840), es uno de los especímenes de mayor valor patrimonial del Museo del Banco Central de Chile. La falta de circulante en las regiones a fines de 1830 llevó a las casas comerciales y mercantiles a emitir papel moneda. Valdivia no fue la excepción y se aceptaron en 1840 la emisión de vales o billetes pagaderos al portador, garantizados por la Tesorería y Aduana Unida de Valdivia.
