English: Valentin Sinitsyn is a Soviet and Russian radiologist and scientist, doctor of medical sciences, professor and chair of the Department of Radiology at the Faculty of Fundamental Medicine of Moscow Lomonosov State University (MSU), head of the Department of Radiology AT the Medical Scientific and Educational Center of MSU. He is one of the pioneers of magnetic resonance imaging, computed tomography, teleradiology, and cardiac radiology in Russia. He is a current President of the Russian Society of Radiology, laureate of the State Prize of the Russian Federation in the field of science and technology, awarded with Gold Medal of the European Society of Radiology
