Die Orgel der Basilika Valeria in Sitten ist ein äusserst wertvolles Instrument von grosser historischer und künstlerischer Bedeutung.

Die originalen gotischen Ornamente des Gehäuses stammen aus der Zeit um 1430. Von den acht Registern des Instrumentes sind aus gotischer Zeit. Eine Erweiterung der Orgel fand im Jahre 1687 durch Christopher Aebi aus Solothurn statt. Die tiefe Oktave des Manuals und ebenfalls das Pedal weisen die sogenannte «kurze Oktave» auf, bei welcher die chromatischen Tone Cis, Dis, Fis und Gis Fehlen. Heutiger Tonumfang der Orgel: C-c™ (früher: H-a"), Pedal: C-c mit B. Die Flügeltüren der Orgel wurden von Peter Maggenberg um 1437 bemalt. Nachdem die Valeria-Orgel 1954 handwerklich auf sehr subtile Art und Weise wieder spielbar gemacht wurde (Orgelbau Kuhn), erfolgte die letzte Restaurierung im Jahre 2004 (Orgelbau Füglister). Es wurde jeweils Wert darauf gelegt, dass der Klangcharakter und der ursprüngliche technische Aufbau des instrumentes unverändert blieben. Im Jahre 2019 wurde die Orgel rein mitteltönig gestimmt
