Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Orce's "cookie". This is a controversial fossil, the so-called "Orce Man" (Homo sp.) a cranial fragment from 1.3-1.8 million years. The piece was never fully recognized as a true hominid fossil, but lithic tools found later (1.4 m.y.) made it very factible. The dark brown skull is only a plaster support for the fragment (on top)
