Pérez y Txomin Romero. - Equipamiento del fondo, de izquierda a derecha: • DEC VAX 11/750 Procesador KA750 y hasta 14 MB de RAM. Sistema operativo VMS. • DEC RA81 – Disco de 14 pulgadas, capacidad: 456 MB. • (Entre Blanca y Javi) DEC TS11 – Unidad de cintas de ½ pulgada y 9 pistas (capacidad típica: 40 MB). • (Junto a Txomin) Módems de conexión a la red Iberpac X.25. - Equipamiento en primer plano, de izquierda a derecha: • Unidad lectora de tarjetas perforadas DEC, modelo desconocido. • HP 9000-220 de la Facultad de Informática. • HP 9000-300 de la Facultad de Químicas. • Sun Microsystems 3/180. - Además: • Sujetos a la pared, sobre la unidad de cintas: dos servidores de terminales Spider Systems T151 (10 puertos serie DB-25). • A lo largo de la pared, junto al techo: cable Ethernet Thickwire (cable amarillo) que constituía el backbone de la red local a 10 Mbps. Los dos servidores de terminales están conectados a él mediante transceptores de tipo vampiro: uno de modelo desconocido (negro, hacia la derecha) y el otro un Isolan 1114 (hacia el lado izquierdo, sobre el aviso de “EVACUACIÓN”). |
