English:  : City Library part of the Nagymaros Town Library and House of Culture Institution, at Fő square corner. About the square (part I.): The main square was formed approx. 150 years ago in its present form, but it is likely that it was still the central square of the settlement before. In Summer Rose Parties held here (it was kind of mix ceremony, trade fair and entertainment), Casino, two restaurants (one of it imn the present library building), two pastry shops was here, Sunday markets held early morning but order had to be made until the beginning of the Sunday mass, after the mass, it had served as a walking area. Here the girls and women were introduced to the latest fashion clothes. The building at Váci street and main square corner (opp. now library) was built to a pub later used for stagecoaches (post coach) station the Korona Manor bought it in 1890, and school created in it, for a couple years here was the historical Hont county Countyhouse, now elementary school yunior classes are here.
