English: The Flodhammar finery forge has a history which traces back from 1590. Three lancashire hearths with reheating oven and trip hammers were installed 1876. The Flodhammar finery forge was closed in year 1900. Location: Uttersberg, Skinnskatteberg, Sweden.
Svenska: Flodhammar var en smedja som låg I Uttersberg. Det finns belägg för smedjan från 1590-talet. År 1876 installerades tre lancashirehärdar med vällugn och räckhammare. År 1900 lades stångjärnssmidet ner och hamrarna vid Flodhammar tystnade för alltid. Bilden är från 1940 – 49. |
