Description
Français : Description : Cette station de pompage est la deuxième à être construite à cet emplacement, sur le flanc sud du mont Royal. La première a été érigée en 1875 à proximité du premier réservoir d'eau potable, aménagé dès 1855-1856 sur le site. Elle est démolie et remplacée en 1928-1932, sous la responsabilité de l'ingénieur Charles-Jules Des Baillets et selon les plans du célèbre architecte Jean-Omer Marchand. La nouvelle station s'inscrit dans la foulée des travaux de modernisation et d'accroissement du réseau d'aqueduc et d'égouts entrepris à la fin des années 1920.
