Shqip: Ura e Terzive është ndërtuar rreth vitit 1730 nga prodhuesit gjakovar të rrobeve, apo terzitë siç njiheshin asokohe, me qëllim të lidhjes së Gjakovës me Prizrenin dhe Shkupin, qytete ku terzitë shisnin prodhimet e tyre. Ndërtimi i urës askohohe kishte zgjatur rreth 10 vjet, por kishte qenë një zgjidhje e mirë për faktin se e kishte lehtësuar dukshëm udhëtimin në atë trevë.
