| Description |
English: Upper slopes of Sgurr nan Ceannaichean "Hill of the merchants" in gaelic. I suspect the merchants in question are the cattle drovers going through to the Strath Carron/Bran route.
Periglacial shattered boulders are a feature of the upper part of this Munro. Ptarmigan are seen. In the distance a glacial trough, hanging valley, hanging corrie, rock step and nunatak! The stalkers' path belonging to Glenuaig Lodge stops short of this point; it is badly eroded in parts. |
