[edit]
Description
English: Upper pit of Upper Glynrhonwy Quarry This is a deep pit with sheer walls, the most terrifying of all the pits in the Llanberis area. In addition, it gained a notoriety in the post war years when, as the MOD's pit 3C, thousands of tons of explosives and detenators were left lying around on the pit floor. http://www.rafbdhistory.co.uk/new_page_7.htm
