Summary

[edit]
Description

Upper Red Pine Lake, Little Cottonwood Canyon, Utah.

Very serene and quiet place. Only few people reach this lake, most stop at the Lower Red Pine Lake and tedious ascent. Unlike the White Pine Trail with many switchbacks, the Red Pine Trail is very straight and therefore steeper. Most hikers get exhausted by the time they reach the Lower Red Pine Lake. Some, however, find strength to continue and storm the Pfeifferhorn Peak.
