| Description |
English: Upper Lock at Pewsham Locks This is the currently derelict upper lock in a flight of three locks at Pewsham Locks on the disused Wilts and Berks Canal. The wooden footbridge is for the footpath which crosses the old canal at this point.
This end of the lock is relatively undamaged, although the far end was used for demolition practice during the second world war. The canal itself was abandoned in 1914. |
