Summary

[edit]
Description Sketch of the site of Upper Canada's first permanent legislature building. The grey lot is the home of John Small, the provinces Chief Clerk. The buildings were burned by American occupiers, in 1813. They were so small that cabinet meetings were held in Small's nearby parlour.
