Summary

[edit]
Description

Add this to the many things that are objectively wrong with the design of L'Enfant Promenade: the copious lighting is useless for actually, you know, illuminating the street surface below them. Instead, all that energy just goes directly up as light pollution.

And yet somehow, the notion that this could be a landscape worthy of historic preservation actually exists out there in someone's brain, and therefore tax money needs to be spent investigating that claim.
