Deutsch: Die sog. Maximiliansinschrift auf Schloss Hanfelden in Unterzeiring stammt von Christoph Praun aus dem Jahr 1620.

Ain Tausent man schrib überall,
Fünffhundert und Sechs darneben,
Wardt disem Sitz der Nam gegebn,
Hanfeldn, von Maximilian,
Römischen König Lobesan
Dem erstn dis nam, aus Österreich,
Den Purkhfridt gab er auch zugleich,
Und thett in der Stubn residiern,
Wie er in grüeben wolt ausfüern,
Das wasser von Perkhwerch Zeyring,
Welches ertrenckhet hat gächling,
Vil hundert Knappen auf ainmal,
die Gottes Zorn hat bracht zu faal,
Wegen irs grossen übermuett
Der laider Ja nie thuett kain guett
Baldt wurdn Vierzechnhundert Frauen,
zu Wittibn mit grossen Trauren
Vor dreyhundert Achtvierzig Jarn
Hat man solchen Jamer erfarn
