Title
Unprov: S-shaped (serpetiform) belt hook
Description
English: Cast copper-alloy hooked belt fastener. It is a S- or serpent-shaped specimen with a snake-head at either end. In the centre, between the two necks/heads is a band and a collar of leaves on either side.

Terminals in the shape of a snake's head are most common, but seeing that the two terminals of this one resemble a duck or swan's head more than that of a snake it can be assumed that heads of other animals may have been displayed as well.
